July 19th - weekly update....

So you know I have been telling you about the fabric that is piling up at the front door of my home - well we have some of it now in the store.. yes here is some bright and fun chevrons and large polka dots... we have been thinking about a model or two to make out of this  - this fabric is $11.25 a yard and is ready to cut....
Then changing up the seasons just a bit we have some more Halloween fabric in - you may remember that we have pillowcases made up as kits ( $12.95) in some lovely color combinations! They make up as quick as a flash and are great trick or treat bags!
For a real treat we also have some fabrics from France - directly from there - lovely toiles on these small bolts......those of you have seen them have had fun playing with them and deciding what to make out of them....

So what else have we been doing in the store other than finding a home for fabric!! Our Dear Jane Club met on Wednesday evening and just to show you that some of us (not this author) did finish their Dear Janes on time. And others are very close! Just gorgeous and a challenge for the most experienced quilter! We will be starting up again with a slightly different approach to organizing the Dear Jane Club- so if you are interested let me know and we can get you on the list.

Also just a quick reminder about our Mad Wooly  Monday Club- we are going to kick off with - the Wooly Bits program... A small project each month that will be easily completed and which will add wool nicely to your stash. Call and ask for
details or stop in!

More to come....

So what have we been doing this week?

We have almost found a home for everything - and almost found everything we had mislaid - just a couple of things which I am sure will show up very soon!
But this past week we have seen fabric arrive from every where- it was as if I had timed it just right..... But take a quick look at some of it!!
A little bit more of Aunt Gracie '30's fabric is now on the shelves ..

Yes you are seeing some lovely bright and fresh fabrics from Riley Blake.

Also Summit Rose from Marcus

History repeated part II

And last but not least Jo Morton's Savannah

So look out for some new models.... Our holiday fabrics are all here but sequestered until those models are made... Fall will be in the shop very soon!!!

Just wanted to add some pics
A farewell to countryside village

Gracie moved on Sunday ( our long arm) and so all that was left to do was vacuum!
We enjoyed our "beginning " in this space and want to thank all of you for shopping with us while we were there.
