Spring is coming to More Sew For You.

Some of you may recognize this pattern - it is a Jo Morton pattern from her Prairie Flowers book. We have it hanging in a section of the store that is dedicated to Jo Morton's fabric - we thought this would be easier for selecting fabrics for the Jo's Little Women #14 club beginning next month. (Still time to join in the fun!) The first model from this program will be hanging this week in the store .. Plus Hollyjocks her latest line of fabric has arrived - very pretty!

One of our customers Jan finished her 1864 quilt top! 

This is wool on cotton and it was stitched all by hand. The picture makes it look a little bit lighter than it is .. Congratulations Jan I am very envious as I have a ways to go on mine!!

The First Local Shop Hop in Omaha Jan 31

We had a lot of fun on the first day of our shop hop and below please see pics of the first quilters to get to all the stores and get their passports stamped for the gift certificate drawing!! This is proof that you can do all the stores in one day ... 

Congratulations to all!! The snow did not seem to deter anyone.. We had 250 people come through the store on Saturday! 

It is certainly time for me to get back on the blog

So first things first - we are going to do Jo's Little Women Club 14 . We will hold our first meeting March 26th a Thursday at 6:00pm. If you can make it that would be great if not we can tell you all about this club when you are next in the store.

During our club meetings the pattern of the month will be available and some pointers on how we made it. Plus you will get to show us what you have made and share in some fun, games and light refreshments.
